Like say, if you were in a monster truck!
Legally, you won’t be able to crush and drive over that long row of cars in front of you, but there is one way of having such an experience.
Monster Truck Madness
Being in the position of jumping in a monster truck is something that many of us would love to have a go at, and this is made possible through gift experiences.
Monster trucks are surprisingly fast, and with their huge tyres and incredible suspension system you can get behind the wheel of one of these bad boys and cause complete destruction, as well as jumping over massive ramps high into the air.
This is the ideal gift for those looking for a thrilling and unique driving session, and there are a number of different types of experiences available:
American Monster Truck
This type of monster truck is called a ‘Grizzly’, why? Well it’s a bit of a beast with its 7.5 litre engine and 66 inch terra tyres!
This is a very popular sport in the US, so you can have the opportunity to have a go in one of these all American driving machines.
For this experience, you have to be 16 years and over, and it will typically involve you having a safety briefing and a warm up lap so that you can familiarise yourself with the controls.
You’ll then take on a number of challenges, such as driving over two ‘police’ cars (you can at least imagine that this is on the drive to work!) and reversing into a coned garage.
You’ll also be given a photograph of the incredible vehicle as a little memento of your amazing experience day.
Euro Monster Truck Driving
Although slightly smaller than the American version, Euro monster truck driving is equally as powerful with its modified large wheels and suspension.
For this experience, the minimum age is 17, and will involve you spending around two hours testing out three different vehicles: a stacked-up Jeep, the fully caged Land Rover Defender 90 and the ‘Black Ice’.
The session will start with a safety briefing and an introduction to the awesome vehicles you’ll be driving, before being let loose behind the wheel!
There are many other driving experiences, such as jumping in your favourite super car (whether it’s a Ferrari, Aston Martin or Lamborghini), the unique two-wheeled Segway, Grand Prix Karting, motorbiking, Quad biking and many more.
But if you've got serious road rage after spending every morning commute stuck behind a tractor, lorry, bus or pensioner, there's nothing like the car crushing thrill of monster truck driving as an exciting form of therapy!
