Sphereing – turn someone’s world upside down

Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to roll down a hill head over heels without having to worry about putting your hand on a thistle, banging your head or landing in an ungainly heap at the bottom? If not, then maybe it’s time to start thinking about it, and if you have then your chance is here – a Sphereing experience is not only great fun, but an experience unlike any other which will leave you feeling exhilarated and questioning everything you thought you knew about where the ground and sky are in relation to one another.
Anyone who watched Gladiators in the 1990s will have seen the Atlas balls and at the time there were thousands of people around the country thinking how much fun it looked to run around in a giant hamster ball. The fact that they were made of steel meant that you did have to have super strength to move them, which is where the New Zealand invention of modern sphereing came in. Instead of steel, our spheres are made from two layers of plastic, meaning that not only do you not need a gladiatorial physique to enjoy a sphereing experience but you’re also safely cushioned when you’re inside it.
Over the years since we’ve offered our sphereing experiences, there have been a lot of innovations in the design which have made sphereing even more exciting. There’s our harness sphereing experience, where you and whoever you choose are strapped inside a sphere and roll down a hill with all the attending ups and downs. Then there’s the water wonderland of an Aqua sphereing experience, where you and a friend are loose inside a sphere filled with water, making for an experience somewhere akin to being inside a washing machine. And for the most hardcore adrenaline junkies we have Eclipse Sphereing – taking off down a hill at speeds of up to 30mph in complete darkness is sure to get your heart racing.
So if you’ve ever wanted to know what you would look like after rolling down a hill in a ball, a sphereing experience is a great way to find out. We even have junior harness sphereing for younger thrill seekers, so if you’re looking for a gift for someone who enjoys the chance to try something new and exciting then a sphereing experience is a great gift idea.
